Let’s Go Climbing!

The CBC Grimpeur competition is new for 2017 and is intended to challenge members to get out to the hills, both locally and further afield.  It is being organised by Andy Gudgeon, so please contact him via the CBC Facebook forum if you have any questions

Grimpeur Rules

  • Why not try a new climb or go on a road trip? The only rule is to make it up the climb to score the points……you must be on Strava for the climb to count as I will be using that to collate the points.
  • The competition starts from 21/1/17 and finishes on 31/12/17, the winner[s] to be announced in next years awards evening…..best male/female/veteran
  • There are 27 designated climbs, each with different numbers of points.  The maximum total score is 350 points.  Speed doesn’t matter. if you complete the climb then you get the points.
  • Many of the climbs have links to the cyclinguphill website which can give you much more information.
