All rides leave from the public car park opposite Roefield Leisure Centre on Edisford Road. The routes for each week are posted to the CBC Facebook forum.
9-00am – ‘A’ run – Not currently running; but if you are looking to do a ride 16 mph+, around 60 miles with cafe stop, then why not post on our Facebook site and find others interested.
9-00am – ‘B hillbillies’ run – A slower but still challenging club ride taking in some hills, 14-15mph, 45 – 50 miles with cafe stop.
9-00am – ‘B’ run – A steadier paced club ride, 12-13mph, 35 – 40 miles with cafe stop.
9-00am – ‘C’ run – A gentle paced ride of around 30 miles with a cafe stop. Pace is on average 10-12mph, the ride leader will make sure no-one is left behind.
NB the B rides are our most popular, so we may split these into several smaller groups of up to 8 people to enable us to ride safely on the roads.
Introductory rides – Ideal for people that are new to cycling and want to find out more about the club. These are not weekly rides but organised as required.
Other days of the week
There are several other rides going out during the week, these tend to be a bit more ad-hoc and are organised through our Facebook site.
Run in the summer evenings once the clocks have gone back – see Facebook for details.
